Systems Analyst - PowerBuilder
One Year Contract
You possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and have a work ethic that is client-focused, allowing you to shine while working with a diverse range of clients. You are a PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, Java developer with excellent knowledge of Oracle, UNIX, SQL and PL/SQL to support and implement changes to the Region of Peel applications including Peel’s Water Billing and Special Assessment Billing Systems. Our Systems Development Section uses the latest technology. The primary technology utilized for this position is PowerBuilder 8, Visual Basic, Oracle 8i, SQL and PL/SQL, Unix 11 and Windows 2000 Network with XP workstations. Responsibilities include: providing support to the existing applications including Water Billing and Special Assessment Billing Systems, assisting clients in formulating any changes to the existing systems, and testing and implementing these changes. You will work in a team environment and will act as a mentor to the existing team members. Success requires:
- a relevant degree or diploma
- 3 years experience using PowerBuilder and Oracle
- strong verbal and written communications skills
- exceptional analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
Salary ranges from $44,159 - $59,745 + comprehensive benefits.
