本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I have been working in London ..... While, J have been in Miami working in ...... Alfie (our Cocker Spaniel) has turned two and is starting to act like a teenager! (interest in girls and generally giving a bit more attitude.) Both myself and J are doing well, but miss each other. I am not scheduled to return to Miami until May or even September.
The distance has been difficult, but both J and I have been working hard to keep American Airlines in business. Trips to London, Miami, the Caribbean and the Bahama have all been very exciting, happy but all too brief.
Last week, I arrived in Miami and J cooked me an amazing 5 course Dinner! complete with butternut squash soup, lobster tail and Steak. Dinner was at Sunset, overlooking the Bay at our apartment. the Atmosphere was seriously romantic , 60 candles and lots of smelly lilies. I was most impressed. J had further prepared a photo album divided into the 5 courses of our meal, each section representing a different part of our relationship and decorated with photographs appropriate to it.
I was very overwhelmed by the 4th course and decided to transfer myself onto J\'s knee (How was I gonna top this Valentine\'s Day meal???). J persuaded me to return to my seat and after the 5th course... got down on his knees and proposed. I leaped into his arms and of course said YES. J then presented me with the ring..... to which I said... YESYESYES...
