QUALIFICATIONS:

- Technical School certification or equivalent
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- A+ certification mandatory
- HP/Compaq Server capabilities
- SAN server an asset
- Unix/Sun Solaris an asset
- MCSE, Novell, Cisco, certifications are an asset
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers and
maintain professionalism at all times


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Resolves complex, escalated technical problems and functions as
technical consultant for less experienced personnel.
· Recommends, develops and executes effective approaches to problem
resolution.
· Diagnoses, isolates and repairs complex large system hardware
failures to the lowest field-replaceable unit or component.
· Resolves complex intermittent system hardware failures and
software/network problems.
· Installs total systems at customer locations.
· Provides technical/work leadership to junior technicians and
develops and conducts training seminars.
· Develops and maintains client relationships and identifies
opportunities to extend existing service agreements. Communicates
sales leads.
· Ensures development and implementation of critical action
