Founded in 1991, Logistics Management Information (LMI) offered basic
transportation and payment services to our clients. Now, over ten
years later, and through the continuous development and expansion of
our technical expertise, LMI has become a major third party Freight
Management and Information Specialist with clients spanning across
North America.
We are currently seeking an experienced programmer to join our small
and dynamic team of software developers and support personnel, in the
development and roll out of new internal programs. This 6 to 12 month
project will mainly involve enhancements/additions to LMI’s new
software, testing and verification of modifications/additions, Crystal
Report development, and the transfer of data, and customized scripts,
from our previous program that existed on a dbase platform.
All applicants must have exceptional written and verbal communication
skills. Self-motivation, the ability to work in a team environment, as
well as commitment to producing quality work, are critical to the
success of the position.
An aptitude for resolving issues in a production environment is
essential.
Post secondary diploma/degree required in Computer Science & Technology
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of Microsoft
Visual Basic programming and concepts (minimum 3 year’s experience),
as well as structured programming standards and methodologies.
Experience and strong knowledge of Crystal Reports Development
(minimum 1 year), C++, SQL, and SQL Server are also required. It would
be beneficial to have knowledge of XML, JavaScript and ASP.Net.
Experience with the Transportation/Logistics industry a definite asset
