A major rain event has impacted much of southern British Columbia including Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. This began Sunday, November 14 and this is expected to continue through Monday, followed by high winds in many areas. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrstructure have been actively responding, monitoring and assessing the many highway closures and will continue to do so as we work with local and emergency service partners.
