The region was experiencing an unexplained spike in sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), which Grus took upon herself to investigate.

Grus used the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) database and probed into the COVID-19 vaccination status of mothers whose babies died suddenly to determine if a correlation between the rollout of the novel injections and SIDS existed.

But her superiors deemed her actions to be “unauthorized” — this week, Constable Grus faced a disciplinary hearing in Kanata, Ontario, to review her conduct.
