position that Eagle Professional Resources has to offer at this time. The
details to the project are listed below and are very specific, if you or

Our client is currently seeking a Network Technical Analyst for a six (6)
month contract position, located in the GTA.
This role is slated to begin in February 2004, and requires the individual
to:
-- Provide specialized technical support for High Availability
infrastructure consisting of Cisco equipment and SAN switches;
-- Distribute timely resolution of network communications problems;
-- Conduct problem determination analysis, research and solution
recommendations;
-- Train or impart knowledge in communications technology and IT knowledge
to more junior technical staff;
The successful candidate should have the following skill set:
-- Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP Routers, Switches and Hubs;
-- Experience with Cisco Content Switches and Brocade SAN switches;
-- Minimum of three (3) years Technical Support experience;
-- Experience in installation and configuration of PCs, servers, hardware,
and software.
-- Expertise in the following areas:
-- Routing Protocols OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP;
-- Network Topologies such as ATM, Fast Ethernet, Token Ring, GIG
Ethernet, FDDI, WAN;
-- HPOV, Network Node Manager, SNMP, CONCORD;
-- DNS/DHCP, SMTP, SNTP, Proxy/Cache, VPN;
-- Structured Cabling - CAT5, UTP, MM/SM Fiber;
-- Technical Writing;
-- Strong Interpersonal and Consulting Skills;
-- Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience;
