biking trip along the Niagara river this sunday, March 27.

Having been taking this trail many times, I still like to go back again and again, amazed by it's nice views.

I will provide the car pool and the bike rack (3 seats and 2 bike space available), as well as 2 two-way radios.

It will be a moderate exercise. 18-sp mountain bike or racing bike recommanded. There will be one hill with moderate incline need to pass. The trail is fully paved. A breathable windbreaker and protection gears are recommanded, at least a bike helmet. Better safe than sorry.

We will be starting from the Whirlpool Aero Car area (refer to the attached map) and heading north to Niagara-on-the-lake. The whole trip can be 20-30km depends on everybody's physical condition.

Ideally we leave GTA at 11:00am.

      sorry for the short notice. still a newbie to this site, didn't know this forum until the day b4 :D

      thinking of taking a short off-road trip in toronto next weekend. but seems like it's will be very tough, from the road situation i saw in this trip (the unmaintained section was still snow/ice covered, muddy with loose traction). guess i will wait for a while (two three weeks hopefully) and then go for it.

      there will be a race in ajax called "ice-breaker". bascially you will be riding in snow/ice/mud. let me know if you are interested, i can pass the info on to you.

      anyways, thank every body for your interest. let's keep in touch.
