别太急了.本来是6-8周的处理时间.NND不少城市自己又加了一个月的处理时间：例如密市 http://www.mississauga.ca/portal/cityhall/birthregistrations

If the Statement of Live Birth is accurately completed, the City of Mississauga immediately forwards it to the Province of Ontario, Office of the Registrar General where the official registration takes place. The Registrar General will take approximately three (3) months to complete the registration and will send a "Notice of Birth Registration". Do not apply for a birth certificate until such confirmation is received. Birth certificate applications can be obtained from the City Clerk's Office or the Registrar General's web site at www.cbs.gov.on.ca. If you wish to inquire about the status of a birth certificate, please call 1-800-461-2156. Do not call the City of Mississauga for this purpose as we are unable to assist.
