一、我们在加拿大并无任何亲友，哪个城市对我们都差不多，而我不太喜欢大城市，我一直认为大城市生活不便，但这是基于我的中国经验，不知在加拿大如何。
This is the same in Canada. I am living at Edmonton, I feel it is very peaceful and convenient. Big cities means higher living cost.
二、我不太欢喜生活在华人太多的地方。坦率地说，我认为中国人最喜欢欺负中国人，中国人多的地方对中国人的歧视恐怕也要严重一些，可能中小城市的当地人对中国人相对较友好。
yes, you really got the key point. I had been some big cities in Canada, Now I like Edmonton more. Here you will feel the people is so nice to new commers.
三、我们夫妻都是工程师，他的专业是有机化工，我是学机械的，卡市是工业城市，可能他好找工作一些。 但他的英语不太好。至于我，由于我根本不喜欢我的专业，并且也不精通，所以我想到加后再读书，读一个较适合我的专业，本科就很好，现正在准备TOEFL。
Many choices you will know after you come, such as specially training classes by goverment (with fanicial
support, 1-1.5 year). If you want to go to university again, U of Alberta is not bad.
对于卡市我也曾留心打听过一些情况，但到目前为止，我仍未能得到更多的信息。我只是听一位加拿大的商人说，卡市的经济状况很好，但气候相对较冷。另一位加拿大香港人说，阿省由于比较富并且人少，不收省税等。但在网上也有人说，阿省是农业省，并不富。
This year, Alberta (Calary and Edmonton) got a 4% increase rate, it is top in Canada. You can find so many
places are hiring new staff here. About the wether, the feeling is much much better than in Beijing. Except Vancouver, all of cities in Canada have no big difference. Actually, everywhere is heated in winter, you just need a shirt in room and a coat in outside.
It is rich or poor is not our concerns.What we need is a stable job and a peaceful place. Actually, Alberta is richest province in Canada because of its oil and gas industry. About the agriculture, yes, Canada is very of agriculture comparing to New York, but it really doesn't matter because the concept is too different with that in China. Agriculture is a special kind of industry, like food manufactures,mechanics... Only 3% population is in agriculture in Canada!
基于这些情况和我们的打算，我认为到加拿大后的头几年生活会很艰苦，而卡市是北美消费最低的城市，生活也许会容易些，但也有人说，消费低意味着工资低，工作机会少。我想也有道理，何况多伦多的大学也比较多一些。记得你以前在卡市住过，所以我希望你能给些意见，相信你的意见会很有价值。
Yes, in the first 2 years, the life is quite hard. Then, I am sure it will be better and enjoy. The salary have not so big different, but the housing has a very big different. See, in Edmonton, rental for a nice two bedroom apartment is 400-550. How much it is in Toronton? Maybe double, but the salary is not double in Toronton, right.
About job opportunties, let's think it. Toronton's population is about 300 Wan, Edmonton is about 80 wan.
We can think the positions in Toronton is 4 times of that in Edmonton. But how many new immigrants are looking for their first job? More than 10 times than in Edmonton. This is means the possibility is less.
Here, I know, many emploiyee can't find a people to fill the job, in Toronton, a job of Pizza Hut will have 30 competitors. Here it is too too easy to find such a job.
By the way, the living cost of Calary is increasing quite big than Edmonton.
