本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛30多年前，一个热爱唱歌的美国女孩子，得到了她的第一张唱片合约，唱片录制后
却默默无闻，甚至，公司把她的单曲重新包装录制时，连歌曲中间的一段独
白都漏掉了。
唱片再度覆灭，唱片公司终于决定与她解约，而爱唱歌的女孩也在落寞之中远赴英
国，在一个小镇当起了女店员。

命里有时终须有,几年以后,1982年，一位DJ偶然心血来潮，播放了这个女孩曾经录
制的单曲,没想到引起了听众热烈的反应，唱片公司也赶紧顺势重新推出这首歌的单
曲，并特别重新剪辑，把原先「失落」的独白部分放回去，结果一炮而红，拿到全
美第三名，在英国更勇夺冠军。

这个爱唱歌的女孩叫Charlene，那首感动了无数听众，至今仍在流传的歌曲叫「I’
ve Never Been to Me」。

这是一首柔美致极的歌曲, 在动人的旋律下，表达着相当发人深省的内容。歌曲描
述一个历尽沧桑的女人，看见另外一个已婚妇女在悲叹自己的命运，忍不住提出了
一些忠告。她也有过放浪形骸的过往，曾经走遍整个世界，凭著自己的青春美貌，
享受著几乎有如天堂一般的快乐时光，王公贵族、甚至神职人员，都曾经是她的
「入幕之宾」，但是到头来，她却只落得一场空，不但走投无路，连个肯友善相待
的人都没有。天堂是什么？那只是人们用来欺骗自己的幻想。好好珍惜自己拥有的
吧，怀抱中的宝宝，还有那个虽然有时会吵架、但真心爱她的男人，才是真正珍贵
的，那才是爱。或许她到过天堂，但是她从未找到过自我，请不要重蹈她的覆辙。

平淡是真，平凡是福---多年之后，一个冰冷的雪夜，我躺在温暖的家里，一遍又
