If it is operated with a garage opener, and no door form inside the house. only have one choice, it is less damage to the system, no matter the door material is, wood? matel? or fiber broad? Cut a 4 X 4 Inches hole on the garage door panel at the middle of the top section, use a long stick hook it onto the "Emergency Release Rope", pull it downward to disengage the "Driver Shuttle" after the "Driver Shuttle"is off from the drive chain, the door shoule be to open by hand. Wish this help and I did not misunderstand your meaning of the 手动)
