Outside Toronto

If you live in the burbs, there will still be a few late light shows to see without coming all the way into town. And many cities also have day long events going on. We've listed their fireworks shows below.

Brampton

Donald M. Gordon Chinguacousy Park, 10-10:30pm
(Bramalea Road and Queen St.)
(Brampton Transit will provide free shuttle bus rides to the park, leaving Shoppers World, Trinity Common and Downtown Terminals at 7pm, 7:10pm, 9pm, and 9:10pm. Bramalea Transit Centre buses will run every 30 minutes from 12pm to 8:30pm. They'll also bring you back to where you left your car.)

Mississauga

Memorial Park, around 10pm
(Mississauga Road and Queen St. in Streetsville)
The time on this display isn't certain, so it's best to get there at dusk.

Richmond Hill

Richmond Green Sports Centre & Park, 10pm
(1300 Elgin Mills Road E.)
The P.R. guys call this the 'largest municipal fireworks display' in all of Canada.

What else is happening?

Not every city is planning specific displays and not every venue is restricted just to offering fireworks. There are simply too many events going on around the G.T.A. for Canada Day to list them all. But here are a few links to help you find out what's happening in your area.

City of Toronto
From a parade in Scarborough to a citizenship ceremony at Black Creek Pioneer Village and a huge show at Mel Lastman Square, there's no shortage of things to do in the city on Saturday. To find out more, click here.
