Toronto Rhododendron Society Spring Stroll and Potluck June 5, 2011, 3:00 to 8:00 Toronto Botanical Garden, Studio 2
We will start off with a walk about Edwards Gardens to enjoy the gardens and see how our rhododendron beds fared over the winter.
Then back to the studio for an informal presentation of the rhododendrons of New Zealand by members Mary McLean and Larry Lundy.
Finally, our potluck dinner with lots of time for chatting.
Please bring one of the following: 1) appetizer, 2) main course, 3) vegetable or salad, 4) dessert
Cutlery, plates and cups will be provided, as well as tea and coffee. Any other drinks should be provided by yourselves.
Bring your potluck contribution to Studio 2 at 3:00. We will meet in the studio and proceed to Edwards Gardens at 3:15. Bring a hat or umbrella as the weather dictates. If the weather is really bad, we will forego the walk and enjoy the slides of the wonderful rhodos of New Zealand.
Hope to see everyone there!
