Position Summary
This position will provide assistance to the General Manager with maintaining all administrative tasks, as well as organizing and coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibility
• Plan, implement, monitor and schedule preventative heavy equipment maintenance
• Receive all calls to coordinate equipment moves to and from job sites, shop or rental suppliers
• Receive and distribute mail
• Organize and schedule Float Mover
• Order parts and maintain inventory levels
• Prioritize safety requirements while working with Strada Safety Manger by maintaining Safety scheduling
• Dispatch boom, roll-off and lube truck
• Match purchase orders to invoices as well as enter invoices into accounting package
• Review fuel inventory and usage
• Record hour meter cards and document problems
• Work closely with the Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic to prioritize equipment repairs and maintenance
• Work closely with the General Manager to prioritize crushing equipment repairs and maintenance
• Monitor fluid analysis service (SOS) reports from vendor
• Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned, from time to time.

Education and Experience
• Completion of secondary school required
• Heavy equipment mechanical training

Working Conditions
• Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Moderate physical effort. Moderate exposure to environmental conditions. Moderate limited movement. Significant shift work or non-standard hours of work required
