The successful candidate must have exceptional knowledge and experience in testing telecom products and software applications. The ability to work well within various development and testing teams is essential. Responsibilities will include all phases of product testing cycle: requirements analysis, prepare test plan based on requirements and various telecom specifications, execution of test plans, test bed preparation, carry out testing using a number of test tools, debug the problem, if needed replicate the problem in development setup. Log defect reports and verification of the same once they are resolved. This self-motivated, result oriented engineer should possess a strong desire to learn and grow with a complex product, have a record of increasing responsibility, and therefore play a key role in the continued success of our products.
Responsibilities
■Experience in Testing of Telecommunication Protocols/Products/Solutions/Applications (e.g.: VoIP, Wireless 2G/3G/LTE)
■In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following technologies and protocols:
■SIP, H.323, RTP/RTCP, MGCP/MEGACO, IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, SCTP, IPSec, AKAv1/v2, IKEv1/v2
■3GPP, LTE, 2G, 3G, IMS (HSS, S-CSCF, I-CSCF, P-CSCF, Application Server)
■Hands on Experience with setting up test beds and telecom test equipment.
■Experience in testing telecommunication equipment such as:
■Softswitches/Gateways, SIP Proxies, IMS Components, Protocol Analyzers, Service Brokers, Route Engines, IP Media Servers, IP Phones/IADs, Application Server, etc
■Exposure to testing of Database Applications on Oracle, MySQL a plus.
■Proficient in Scripting Languages such as Perl, TCL/Expect, Shell scripting.
■Proficient in deriving test cases from the product requirement.
■Good understanding of various testing processes

■Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment.
■Strong problem solving skills.
■Strong attention to detail.

Education: Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
Pertinent Experience: 3-8 years related to telecom software testing and automation scripting.
