The position that I was referring to in this area is as follows:
This opportunity is in North York for a Millwright / Electrician at an Automotive Parts company. I appreciate that this might not be the ideal opportunity that you are looking .
This company doesn't have an up-to-date job description made up because the current person in this position will be retiring soon after 25 years in this job!!! Essentially, this person has been looking after all of the maintenance requirements of certain parts of this plant as well as the electrical maintenance requirements. The company is called Leader Plating on Plastic Ltd. and they are located at 2 Jody Ave. Suite E, North York. You can Google them and easily get some information on them. Their current base salary requirement seems a bit low for the current market and of course it may be below what your are interested in. Basically, they have been very fortunate to hire a person who was likely very young when he started and stayed in the same job for his whole career, so the salary they were paying him was likely below market value. I would expect that they will have to come up to competitive salary levels if they wish to attract and keep a good person for this position.
They are currently thinking about a base salary in the mid $50's and paying the person overtime on top of that. They have electroplating equipment there for their plastic parts.
