• University or College degree and/or equivalent work experience
• A diploma or certificate in web development/web design, computer science or e-marketing
• 5+ years experience in a Web Master and/or E-Marketing role, plus a minimum of 3+ years of experience in both SEO and SEM
• Proficient in HTML, XHTML, XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
• Working knowledge of JSP, CVS versioning software and FTP programs
• Experience in multimedia as well as social media platforms such as Facebook. LinkedIn, Bing, You Tube, etc.
• Expert understanding of campaign and web tracking software such as Omniture and Analytics
• Working knowledge of Enterprise databases and database software (Oracle, SQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with Tomcat and Apache web servers would be an asset
• Knowledge of email platforms such as ExactTarget and Marketo is highly desirable
• Proven experience using graphics and web development tools including Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
• Experience developing, running and evaluating online marketing campaigns including Search Engine Marketing (SEO and Pay per Click) and shopping care, etc., while adhering to best practices.
• Knowledge of best practices for organic search engine optimization including search engine spiders, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
• Capable of reporting, analyzing and distilling complex concepts into reports easily understood by non-technical colleagues
