• Responsible for all aspects of technical pre-sales support, solution designs, and basic engineering (SoCal, Arizona, Nevada)
• Working knowledge of networking and videoconferencing/telepresence infrastructure and solutions:
o Cisco CUCM Telepresence, Polycom Real-Presence Platform, LifeSize Solutions, Radvision Scopia
• Daily activities include on-site customer meetings with account managers to help assess application needs and solution design
• Help qualify and quantify the size and scope of the opportunity so that the account manager can set the proper pricing and application expectations with customer/prospect. create parts lists, pricing, Visio diagrams and scope of work based on design
• Ability to articulate solutions to sales person, customer, and internal installation resources.
• Understand current network topologies (LAN and WAN), such as MPLS and have the ability to provide consultative guidance and recommendations towards optimal network and quality of service (QoS) strategy for videoconferencing deployments.
• Ideal candidate should have current Cisco and Polycom certifications
