Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. This is a famous English saying in the Deep South of the United States. I personally think it sounds very good.

Recently, George W. Bush tried to cite this saying in one of his speech. We know that this gentleman has some speaking problems. He successfully picked up the first part of the saying, but he could not get the second part. As a result, he said: "Fool me once, shame on you. Shame on you! Eh....Eh, The fool can't get fooled again."

This episode has been talently used in the Jon Stewert's Evening show. The poor Bush was relentlessly ridiculed by those guys in the show. They even prepared a few pillows with Bush's words embroidered. They claimed that it is Laura Bush who embroirered those words in the pillow: "Fool me once, shame on you. Shame on you! Eh..Eh, The fool can't get fooled again."
