本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I found a local private driver can customize the trip per customer's needs. Our family plan to visit following attractions on a day trip:

Chiechen Itza ( one of the world wonders)
EK Balam ruins - the most finest ruins and can climb on the top. must see ruin
EK Balam canote - One of the biggest canote, enjoy the repel and cliff jump. few people there
colonial town - optional

The pick up is flexible but recommend as early as possible to avoid the heat and crowds. This is a private tour then there is no limited on the time to view each site. The driver will provide soft drinks and a cooler with ice. The cost for each passenger is USD37.5. Even includes the entrance fee on three sites, the cost is still cheaper than the tour provided by the hotel. The tour provided by the hotel is USD75 , only go to Chiechen Itza , Ik-kil canote and tourist store. The bus will pick up visitors from various hotel. It is kind of waste time. The people line up in the canote to wait the turn to dip into the water. As this is a typical route each tour agency follows.
