PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To provide care to children in the Woman Alive Program
SHIFT HOURS:
3 Ten Week Terms; Tuesdays 10:00am-2:30pm, Thurs 10:00am-12:00pm,Friday 10:00am-12:00pm, with some extended shifts
Pay $10.00/.hr.
FUNCTIONS:
Provide care to the children in the Woman Alive child care program.
Provide quality programming for the children in the Woman Alive child care program.
Ensure a nurturing and comfortable environment in the Woman Alive child care program.
Ensure equipment, toys, and furniture are cleaned daily and weekly.
Keep accurate attendance records
Communicate with parents regarding child concerns, health issues and other important information.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Experience working with children
Genuine interest in children
Flexible availability
QUALIFICATIONS:
Emergency level First Aid
Current police clearance certificate
High 5 Training an asset
ECE an asset
Ability to speak Chinese an asset
