Somehow, it doesn't sound right. the top up should be considered as earning and should impact EI.

No. The employer top up the difference between EI and 95% of full salary.

你这种情况还真是不多。通常你只有先拿完6周的benefits后才能领EI。既然现在在领EI,按规定你是需要报告这部分收入,最多顺延领取EI而已。

跟我们公司benefit一样的,不用上报,专门问过的,不信可以给EI打电话问。很多公司都有类似的benefit.

噢, 还以为搂主是Receiving Regular EI, 如果是maternity, parental, compassionate care or parents of critically ill children,那应该是没问题
